Hey, reformatted my harddrive, and i dont know what kind of gfx card i have, because it has an ati silencer on it, and is covering the name. any programs taht can detect what kind it is?

Type dxdiag
Click the display tab

I think you mean a cooler. And if it says "ATI" chances are you don't need to know the exact card type as ATI's standard Catalyst drivers (or Omegas) will work just fine.

With ATI cards there's usually a sticker on the back of the card that gives a product number (which may not be the same as the model number). You can usually go through the ATI/AMD site to find out what card it is. I think they even have a app that can do it on-line.
